You probably already know my name by now, but I'm Livianne! Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, I recently graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Cognitive Science specializing in Design & Interaction.
My perspective on design started at home. Growing up, I watched older members of my family struggle with technology, not because they couldn't use it, but because so many products weren't designed with them in mind. Those experiences shaped how I think about design and sparked my interest in accessibility and information architecture, particularly in how thoughtful design can make technology feel more intuitive and inclusive.
I design by understanding how people experience technology and letting those experiences shape what I create. I'm interested in exploring what technology can make possible while making those possibilities meaningful and accessible to the people who use it. At the end of the day, I hope the things I design can find a place and a home somewhere in the world.
I started my journey in community college with nothing but a computer and a dream.
At the time, I barely knew how to zoom in on Figma, but through curiosity, YouTube tutorials, and countless TikToks, I slowly taught myself design and prototyping from the ground up.
I still remember making an absolutely ridiculous burger in Figma and feeling like a creative genius.
I didn't fully understand product design yet, but I knew I loved the building, learning, and improving aspects of it. That curiosity is still a big part of how I approach design today.
My love for food comes from the joy of bringing people together - something that also inspires the way I approach design and creativity.
When I'm not building projects, you'll usually find me cooking, baking, or experimenting in the kitchen! Whether through design, food, or music, I'm always exploring new ideas and turning them into meaningful, memorable experiences.
